I am excited to share my incredible journey after registering for the Spa Specialization Certificate course at Swiss Alpine Centre.
Before I joined the program, I was working as an Aesthetician at Anantara Medjumbe island resort and Spa in Mozambique. I had many challenges understanding the spa operations.
After completing this course, my career soared to new heights and I was able to deal with all my challenges. I gained invaluable insights into resort spa operations and effective marketing strategies. Now, I see spa services as a key part of the guest experience, driving demand and boosting revenue while managing costs.
The course improved my confidence in communication skills and helped me build strong guest connections, leading to increased sales and satisfaction. I also mastered spa accounting, inventory management, pricing, budgeting, revenue management, and menu engineering, which proved indispensable.
One of the positive things that happened to me is applying the skills from this course in my spa, understanding the market, as well as competitors, and being able to bring something new that addresses the spa market niche to attract potential spa-goers.
Encouraging clients to maintain a consistent homecare routine boosted retail product sales. Plus, efficient treatment room and therapist utilization enhanced overall efficiency and customer happiness.
