Opportunities to enter the backbone of the Greek economy!

35 years ago, Swiss Alpine Center revolutionized higher education in the hospitality, tourism, events and culinary arts sectors in Greece. Since then, it has seen 5500 alumni enter the industry and bring professionalism to the backbone of the Greek economy. We continue to celebrate their success stories in the hotel, restaurant, and tourism industries, both at home and in the international arena.

Enquire about the Swiss Alpine Center programs offered at the beautiful seaside campus of City Unity Education Group in Vouliagmeni, just a stone’s throw away from downtown Athens. Our programs combine the Swiss approach to education with British undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. Join a program and you’ll have the opportunity to choose from paid internships in Greece’s luxury hospitality enterprises or anywhere else in the world. Once you’ve graduated, you’ll become a part of the vast Swiss Alpine Center graduate network. Alumni enter the industry at a graduate employability rate of nearly 100%!

Did you know that according to data released by the Association of Greek Tourism Enterprises (SETE) and the Bank of Greece, until recently, the Greek tourism industry employed more than 900,000 people, accounting for one fifth of the workforce?

The total contribution of travel and tourism to employment in Greece decreased in 2020 due to the global pandemic, but the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) is forecasting that over 100 million jobs could return to the global travel and tourism sector during 2021, as the world recovers from the crippling COVID-19 pandemic.
