Career Days come with opportunities for students.

Our Hospitality Management and Culinary arts students were invited to participate in the Career Days hosted at Grande Bretagne, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Athens,  where students were interviewed for internships and graduates for career opportunities for positions at various Marriott properties in Greece.

The past Thursday and Friday of January more than 5 different Marriot hotels were recruiting students to fill the positions of Front Desk, Food & Beverages, Culinary Arts and Events as interns and/or professionals.

The Marriott family – which includes Marriott HotelsThe Ritz-CarltonAutograph Collection HotelsJW MarriottRenaissance Hotels and Delta Hotels, as well as 23 other brands, boasts  a number of Luxury Collection Hotels in Athens, Mykonos, Santorini, and  Costa Navarino, as well as a number of Autograph Collection Hotels in Crete, Mykonos and Athens, together with the Athens Marriott Hotel.

Students interested in boosting their careers by applying for those positions had the chance to find out “inside tips” from the Management responsible for recruitment as well as other relevant information regarding the facilities and resorts for which they would apply for.

The opportunity to network was also something that most of the students took advantage of and valued while the process was in progress. Students from different private colleges and universities also connected with each other as colleagues and future professionals of the Hospitality and Tourism Industry.

We wish our students success in achieving the positions of their choice as they embark on careers with the Marriott Family that has garnered high praise from travel experts and guests alike for its ability to balance a 50-year-old legacy with innovative luxury.

Good luck students!
