Hospitality & tourism will always be the cornerstone of the Greek economy

Hospitality & tourism will always be the cornerstone of the Greek economy, and whilst the tourism industry has been hit very hard by the global pandemic in the last six months, Greece’s tourism industry will always be a major contributor to its economy and the biggest creator of jobs.

In October 2020 Alpine Center will be celebrating its 34th year of presence in Greece as the leading provider of hospitality and tourism management education ‘a la Suisse’.  Offering Swiss Alpine diplomas in hotel management, culinary arts, events management, spa management, and cruise ship hotel operations, topped up with undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs from UK universities, Alpine’s portfolio of courses has something for everyone.  Short courses, longer courses, degree courses, online courses all coupled with industry placements.

Alpine Center was established in Greece in 1987 but as of 2011, Alpine is offering its programs of study in Greece through City Unity Education Group. The location is beautiful Vouliagmeni and the campus includes a hotel where practical classes take place alongside classroom theory.

What sets Alpine apart from other schools in this field is Alpine’s strong professional ethos and industry links, mainly stemming from its adoption of the Swiss philosophy of practical application. Offering schemes of study validated by British universities, Alpine commands a highly focused but also varied portfolio and is able to build on the quality assurance procedures of each of its academic partners to deliver programmes that are academically robust but also vocationally relevant.
